Any reference to Kohl's Connection or connection.kohls.com in any documentation and agreements with Kohl's shall be construed to refer to K-Link. Prior to doing business with Kohl's, Vendors should partner with their merchant partners and discuss the following questions. This will help to facilitate future conversations and understand the upfront requirements for doing business with Kohl's.

Kohl's defines a domestic purchase order as a shipment of the goods that originates in the United States, generally from the vendor's domestic warehouse. A Landed purchase order is placed with a domestic vendor who in turn imports the order. For this landed order the domestic vendor is the importer of record and responsible for all international traffic as well as customs clearance. Kohl's takes possession of the container after customs clearance at Port of Entry (POE).

Kohl's defines an import purchase order as merchandise that is purchased and has Kohl's listed as the importer of record, regulating the freight routing of said shipment. The importer of record is the individual or firm liable for payment of all duties and meeting all statutory and regulatory requirements incurred as a result of importation. This is for merchandise purchased outside of Li & Fung agent. Examples include: footwear, toys, and sporting gear.

Kohl's defines Private Label Domestic orders as a shipment of the goods that originates in the United States, but consists of our exclusive or private label brands. There are additional requirements for Private Label Domestic Vendors as compared to regular domestic vendors, so we have organized the information necessary to assist in understanding our expectations of regulatory compliance, color consistency, product performance, fit and quality assurance.
