Under the Global Trade Compliance Department, the Customs Compliance and Factory Compliance teams work to ensure ethical and legally compliant sourcing and importation of Kohl's private and exclusive brand merchandise and goods where Kohl's is the importer of record.
- Customs Compliance is the cornerstone behind all federal laws and regulations for importing goods and guaranteeing that Kohl's remains in good standing with US Customs and Border Protection through participation in Trusted Trader partnership programs.
- Factory Compliance ensures that factories producing private or exclusive brand product for Kohl's, or where Kohl's is the Importer of Record, are compliant with Kohl's Terms of Engagement and the laws of the country where the factory is located, and CTPAT supply chain security program requirements through factory evaluation and monitoring activities.
